Mothers' Home, Inc. Charity Profile

As a residential shelter, Mothers' Home provides a safe haven for vulnerable, pregnant women in a crisis who choose life as a sacred gift. We encourage our mothers to celebrate the joy of new life and help them prepare for their future and the future of their child. We focus on physical, emotional and developmental needs including positive life skills, parenting, and job preparation. We strive to assist our mothers to reach their goals of independence and self sufficiency.

Mothers' Home, Inc. Volunteer Information

Volunteers offer support services at Mothers' Home. They assist with maintenance, repairs, computers, landscaping, donations of clothing and furniture, answering telephones and office tasks. Last year 109 people contributed 2,265 hours of service to Mothers' Home. Volunteers include youth and church and civic organizations, as well as corporate and private individuals.

Mothers' Home depends upon foundation and corporate grants, government grants, revenue from special events, support from civic and church groups, and individual donations to support its mission to the expectant mother and child.
