The Hearing Discovery Center of Senior Community Services Charity Profile

Senior Community Services (SCS) is a non-profit organization that began in 1977 through the joint efforts of Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) and concerned citizens. SCS has developed into a strong community organization, encompassing four multi-purpose senior centers and neighborhood centers throughout Delaware County and a broad array of services for homebound older persons. Senior Community Services (SCS) mission is to promote independent and meaningful living for older adults through direct services and programs in the home and community. SCS works with organizations representing and serving older residents of Delaware County to develop a comprehensive, coordinated and accessible system of services responsive to the needs of the aging population within the community.
