NFCA, a national organization, is affiliated with the leading researchers in the US who are working toward this goal. National Foundation for Celiac Awareness Volunteer Information
The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness truly values its volunteers! Nearly 700 people from all parts of the United States are helping the NFCA raise awareness of celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. Whether they are hosting cupcake parties or distributing the “Do I Have Celiac” brochures, they are the single biggest factor in the success of our national awareness campaign.
Everyday more and more of the 3 million Americans who have celiac disease are learning what the disease is, getting tested for it and getting diagnosed. But our work isn’t even close to complete and we always need more help. After all, 95% of the people who do have celiac are undiagnosed.
