Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund Charity Profile

The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund is a resource center providing education, advocacy, information and financial assistance for the uninsured needs of families caring for seriously ill and physically challenged children.

Mission: The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund is dedicated to the uninsured needs of families caring for terminally, critically and chronically ill, seriously disabled or severely injured children through advocacy, education, information and financial assistance.

By working directly with healthcare professionals social workers, case managers, nurses and therapists throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware areas, patients and their families' needs are made known to the Fund through a simple application process. Requests for assistance are generally processed within 24 to 72 hours in the form of payments to creditors (or for donation of goods). This simple method of operation assures eligibility for assistance and avoids the misappropriation of funds.

Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund Volunteer Information

Who are our volunteers? They are preschoolers holding a walk-a-thon that helps raise money for the families we help; they are middle school students shooting baskets at an all day basketball shootout; college students collecting thousands of dollars in pennies and lacrosse team members helping to recycle tons of office paper; runners sprinting to the finish line of a competitive 5K run; and men and women from the communities in which our branches are located who help put together and staff a variety of special fundraising events.

The Board of Directors as well as local Advisory Board members are also volunteers who help the Fund come to life. Office volunteers also lend a hand with mass mailings and other types of office work in preparation for special fundraising activities, as well as serve on various committees.
