Mid Valley Mentors is a nonprofit agency headquartered in Salem Oregon since 2004 providing mentor services to Marion and Polk counties. Mid Valley Mentors recruits, trains and matches volunteer mentors with at-risk youth via its Juvenile Enrichment through Mentoring (JEM) program and formerly incarcerated adults via its Reentry Solutions Program (RSP). Mid Valley Mentors is dedicated to engaging at-risk or system-involved individuals in programs that educate, motivate and empower participants to create a positive life for themselves. Mid Valley Mentors' Juvenile Enrichment through Mentoring (JEM) program is evidence- based volunteer program providing mentor and support services for at-risk youth in Marion and Polk Counties. The goal of the JEM program is to reduce the rates of recidivism, decrease involvement in gangs, drugs, alcohol and/or crime, improve academic achievement, and provide social and emotional support to increase positive development of youth. At-risk youth include those that are in foster care, have incarcerated parents, on probation and/or have a combination of risk factors.

Mid Valley Mentors' Reentry Solutions Program (RSP) is an evidence- based volunteer program providing mentor and support services for clients transitioning from incarceration to Marion County. RSP provides positive encouragement and support while helping clients access community services and overcome barriers to re-entry. The goals of RSP are to reduce recidivism and build community support for reentry issues.
