Gospel Rescue Mission Of Grants Pass Volunteer Information

There are wonderful opportunities for volunteers. The work of the Mission is a work of our community. You can assist this wonderful and needed work through your involvement as a volunteer. The 2nd Chance Thrift Store, Recycling, the Office, our GED program and the Fikso Family Center can use your willingness to serve.

For opportunities at the 2nd Chance Thrift . We can use help from keeping the racks straightened to supervising the residents in the warehouse as they prepare items for sale.
For opportunities at the Fikso Family Center . We would love to have someone capable of teaching phonics to our children, reading to the children, or just being a gramma to the little ones.
Our much-needed GED program would love to have someone able to teach basic Computer Literacy. Right now we have many interested residents but no instructor.
Do you have some fluency with QuickBooks Pro? We have a great need for someone who is willing, able and capable to work a couple of forenoons each week checking on data input, running Bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports for the Board meetings. Strike an interested nerve?
