Volunteer Central of Greater Tulsa, Inc. Charity Profile

Established in 1983 by the Community Service Council of Greater Tulsa (CSC) as Tulsa Volunteer Central, Volunteer Central was founded by a group of agency volunteer program managers to encourage strong community-wide volunteerism and to better utilize volunteers for solving some of our community's most pressing needs.

Today, Volunteer Central is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Volunteer Central is governed by an independent Board of Directors representing the diverse Tulsa area. With an annual operating budget of approximately $136,500, Volunteer Central relies upon private philanthropy and grants from individuals, foundations and corporations, annual Associates contributions, and special events and campaigns to fund programming and services provided the community's organizations and volunteers.
