Ahimsa Rescue Foundation Charity Profile
Ahimsa Rescue Foundation specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abandoned companion animals. We never discriminate on the basis of health, age or breed. Ahimsa Rescue Foundation accepts pets from private surrenders and re-home strays; however, the majority of our animals come to us from other shelters that become too overcrowded. By involving and educating the community, Ahimsa Rescue Foundation works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need.
Ahimsa Rescue Foundation Volunteer Information
Ahimsa Rescue dogs receive love and care 365 days of every year by dedicated, hard working volunteers. Extreme weather conditions and major holidays matter not to these devoted individuals. Through the blistering hot sun, freezing sleet, snow, and rain, these devoted volunteers faithfully show up every single day to provide loving care for these animals. Ahimsa Rescue would like to thank the volunteers for their generous and compassionate services they so graciously and freely give.
