Edmond Historical Society Charity Profile
The Edmond Historical Society Museum is a private not-for-profit organization. The Edmond Historical Society is a local, established organization that values memories, history and heritage while looking to the future. Now in its 24th year of service to the community, the Edmond Historical Society was created in 1983 with the mission of preserving and interpreting the history of Edmond. We are succeeding with this mission because of the vital support of our community and volunteers, as well as their collective memories of Edmond.
The Edmond Historical Society has a great year planned with tours, programs and exhibits. We are also taking an active role in celebrating Oklahomas 100th anniversary of statehood. Along with the Edmond Centennial Commission, we are planning a full range of exciting events and programs and plan to take advantage of this perfect opportunity to promote Edmond and its unique history.
We are a small museum but our goal is to maintain a high quality presence in Edmond. Your generous contribution will allow us to continue operation of a first rate museum for the community, increase programming and attain the primary goal of preserving the history of Edmond. Many of the services are offered at no cost to the public.
