Marion Area Humane Society Volunteer Information

Running a shelter like the Marion Area Humane Society, and caring for the dogs and cats takes a lot of work. We are always looking for volunteers to help with any of the following:
Greet/Customer Service
Bathing Pets
Photographing Pets
Cuddling Cats
Vet Appointments (must be able to drive/transport pets)
Morning Shift (Tech Assistance)
Events / Fundraising
Walking Dogs
Cleaning / Laundry
If you are interested in volunteering for any of these jobs, please download and fill out one of our volunteer applications. You can drop it off at the shelter or email it to: Volunteer@mahspets.org We accept applicants under the age of 18 with the consent of a parent or guardian
