Healing Art Missions Charity Profile
We are a group of people from all walks of life committed to sharing our talents, resources and good fortune with those less fortunate.
We focus our work on Haiti, where we support a medical clinic, a school and other projects. Learn more on Projects, and find out what we have done in our yearly reports (see above for links).
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) group, U.S. Federal Tax ID #311618706, supported mainly by contributions from community members. We are always looking for contributions--take a look at Support.Healing Art Missions was founded in 1998 by Granville Ohio family practice doctor, Tracee Laing. Tracee has lived in Granville since 1977 and has touched thousands of local lives through the family practice she began in 1995. As of July 30, 2010 she retired from her practice at Welsh Hills Family Health, choosing to devote the majority of her time to the medical mission work of Healing Art Missions. Under Dr. Laing's leadership, teams of medical volunteers visit Haiti several times annually and the organization funds a medical clinic in Dumay, an elementary school program on the north coast, and a chronic care program focused on hypertension and diabetes in Port au Prince.
Healing Art Missions Volunteer Information
Everyone working for Healing Art Missions in the U.S. is a volunteer. We are committed to ensuring that 99% of all funds raised are spend directly in Haiti in support of the Haitian people. However, without financial contributions from donors in the U.S. we will not be able to sustain our many successes there.
