Senter for Fornybar Energi Charity Profile

The Centre for Renewable Energy (SFFE) combines the competence of the Norwegian research institutes NTNU, SINTEF and IFE within the field of renewable energy. The centre thereby represents the strongest research competence within the field of renewable energy in Norway. Research fields include small scale hydropower, wind, solar, wave, and bio-energy as well as the social dimensions of energy use. The strongest efforts to this date are within silicon solar cells and offshore wind power.

In association with Norwegian industry, SFFE aims to contribute to strategies and knowledge for the innovation and development of new renewable energy technologies. The principal aim of this cooperation is to improve the environment as well as creating values.
