Kristoffertunet Charity Profile

In Kristoffertunet we strive to:

Shape an inclusive community, open for people with special needs for care.

To give each one the possibility to contribute towards community-building out of the spiritual and creative powers that live in each individual.

To care for the land and all our surroundings.

We wish to bring Anthroposophical impulses together and to make them visible through activities based on the tenets of the Camphill Village Trust in Norway .

We wish to live and work together so that it becomes apparent that we are dependant on one another.

We wish to create the stage upon which each single one perform his or her role, and to also take a step beyond it; beyond that which he or she thinks is possible. – “All life is a stage!”

We wish to make it possible for everyone to develop according to his or her possibilities.

We wish to bring culture, quality and consciousness into all corners of life.

We will provide care in the realms of the physical, the soul and the spirit.

Kristoffertunet Volunteer Information

Kristoffertunet can offer a range of work-tasks: in the house-community, on the land (Bio-dynamic), in one of the workshops, and not least, in our cultural life. The foremost task is to participate in shaping an including life-community with adults with special needs.

Each year Kristoffertunet gives the opportunity for young people who want to do voluntary work for a year. We offer room and board and pocket-money.

We are also interested to hear from those with more life-experience who could imagine to live and work at Kristoffertunet for a longer time.

For new co-worker we offer an introductory course and a language-course. We do recommend that you start to learn Norwegian before coming. Our every-day language in house and work-shop is Norwegian and our residents only speak Norwegian.
