The Children's Home Volunteer Information
Volunteers at The Children's Home provide diverse services through a variety of roles. There are two categories of volunteers: those who serve within the community, and those more directly linked with on-campus programs.
Community-based volunteers play an important and unique role in The Children's Home program. These volunteers provide services to youth and their families in two ways:
They help in such areas as parenting, tutoring, household budgets, and transportation; They become important role models and mentors for youth and families.
Cottage teams and other staff utilize the time and talents of volunteers in many essential areas of campus life. In addition to working directly with youth, volunteers can provide support in a variety of other roles as well.
