Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity Charity Profile
Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to change the lives of families living in inadequate housing.
Founded in 1983 as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Asheville Area Habitat builds houses within Buncombe County. Habitat's office and Home Store are located on 30 Meadow Road just north of the railroad tracks in Biltmore Village.
Our goal for July 2006 through June 2009 is to build an average of 16 houses per year. This means starting a new Habitat house every 23 days!
