Taranaki Environment Centre Charity Profile
We are a charitable trust that was set up in 1992. The Taranaki Environmental Education Trust (TEET) is run by a board of five committed professional trustees, who bring a wide range of skills and expertise to TEET.
TEET runs two centres. The central office is located in Inglewood. This includes the Taranaki Environment Centre, funded by the Ministry for the Environment, which acts as a focal point for schools, individuals and local communities to meet, network and disseminate information on sustainable land use practices. We offer residential internships in organic gardening and sustainable design projects for individuals bringing a degree of experience to the Centre's core vision of Creating a Sustainable Taranaki. The centre at Pembroke Road, Stratford is a daily meeting point for the Conservation Corps, propagation unit and sustainable backyard garden.
