Chemung Valley Living History Center Charity Profile

CVLHC is a group of people who are history buffs, nature lovers, educators, living historians, re-enactors, and just plain people. About 18 years ago, we decided to join together with the common purpose of enjoying history, and about 10 years ago, we were given permission to hold Living History events at the Newtown Battlefield State Park. We are an incorporated, non-profit (501-c-3) organization.

Becoming a volunteer for the Chemung Valley Living History Center can bring some fun and excitement into your life. You don't have to be a re-enactor or a living historian to participate. Many of us are, but some of us volunteer simply because we love the park and enjoy being on the hill.
