The Family YMCA Charity Profile

The Family YMCA offers a wide range of facilities and programs for members and participants. The parent organization of The Family YMCA is over 150 years old. The Family YMCA is a charitable, social, health and well-being institution that started in Los Alamos in 1955.

The Family YMCA Volunteer Information

Volunteers are an association of people motivated by an ethic of service. At the YMCA they teach skills and impart the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Volunteers give back to the community as mentors, coaches, skilled instructors and helpers. The Family YMCA could not exist without the assistance and good will of our volunteers.
