You can count on Open Hands to help you or your family in a time of need. Whether you need a loan of medical equipment, help to create a safer home environment, financial assistance during a crisis or quality adult services provided in our state-of-the-art facility… you can turn to the professional staff at Open Hands for help.
Serving our growing communityNew Mexico is a land that is rich in beauty, culture and diversity but hidden amongst this beauty is a great deal of need and poverty. Last year alone Open Hands served over 12,000 residents and the demand for our services is continuously growing. Over 80% of these clients were considered low income. According to recent studies, New Mexico is among the 10 top states having the largest increase in its 65 and over population and is projected to continue to grow.
