At the YWCA we empower our clients with knowledge that increases their choices, dignity, and strength as individuals. Through our various programs and collaborative partnerships we provide our clients with the resources they need to make better choices about their careers, parenting, education, health, and ultimately, the direction they take in life.

YWCA Middle Rio Grande Volunteer Information

Volunteers are a valuable resource for the YWCA, and we appreciate their investment and belief in the work we do. Through our Volunteer Investment Program (VIP), volunteers serve as career mentors, helpers in Our Sister’s Closet, steering committee members for special events, representatives at YWCA public event booths, and Resource Library assistants, and they support a variety of administrative projects.
