Keshet Dance Company Charity Profile
Keshet Dance Company, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization, is a professional company of dance artists committed to inspiring passion and opening unlimited possibilities through the experience of dance. Keshet dancers use movement, music and spoken word to connect people with art and to build a stronger community.
Keshet Dance Company has been creating and performing innovative, experimental, and inspiring dance works for eleven years. An award-winning dance company, Keshet premieres all of its works at home in Albuquerque before touring nationally.
Each year Keshet brings guest artists to Albuquerque to create original works on its dancers and to premiere those works at the repertory concert in May. Past artists include Henning Rubsam of SENSEDANCE in New York City and Maggie Bergeron of Shapiro and Smith Dance in Minneapolis.
Keshet Dance Company Volunteer Information
Keshet is a thriving cultural organization in the community today because of its volunteers. They are the backbone of the organization, assisting with productions, organizing special events, selling ad space in the playbills, posting fliers around town along with many other crucial roles. It is not unusual for Keshet to have the help of over 200 volunteers putting in thousands of hours over a given year.
The following is a list of volunteer opportunities, including committees, specialized jobs and ongoing activities:
