Las Vegas Rescue Mission Charity Profile
Our mission is to spread the good news of salvation through Christ by serving the needs of the poor, addicted, and homeless; so that lives my be changed through Redemption, Recovery & Re-entry back into society.
Our vision is to enhance our ability and resources to meet the growing problem of homelessness and addiction and become a recognized model for providing ongoing services and programs that will enable individuals to move towards independence and spiritual fulfillment through Jesus Christ.
The Mission was founded in 1970 by a group of six businessmen who had a burden to help those who were homeless and hungry. Together, they secured a tiny storefront at 414 West Bonanza Road. By God's grace, they provided sandwiches and drinks, along with mats and blankets for men to eat and sleep away from the elements.
