S.A.F.E. House Charity Profile

S.A.F.E. House was established in 1994 by a group of community leaders concerned about the needs of battered women and their children. Today, through safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and community education, the organization provides a comprehensive approach to working with families to Stop Abuse in the Family Environment.

S.A.F.E. House is stopping violence and abuse in the family environment by providing safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and education.

S.A.F.E. House provides information and training to educate leaders, hospitals, schools, police and any other interested groups and members of the community about domestic violence and the services that we offer. S.A.F.E. House also offers The Teen Dating Violence Council; funded by Nevada’s Trust Fund for Public Heath, this unique and essential program takes domestic violence prevention to teens. Providing education to make safe and violence free relationship choices.

S.A.F.E. House Volunteer Information

Community organizations, businesses and individuals can become involved through our Wish List donations program or in making a financial contributions.

S.A.F.E. House operates a 54 bed domestic violence shelter, operates a 24/7 Crisis Hotline and provides a transitional program.
