Youth Initiative Charity Profile

Youth Initiative is a youth-led and youth-run not for profit youth organisation. It was established during late 1999 but was legally registered in the Dist. Administration Office in Kathmandu on April 2001. Youth Initiative has got affiliation with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal and is also a member of the NGO Federation of Nepal. Youth Initiative is the founding member of Association of Youth Organisations Nepal (AYON), a network umbrella of youth organisations in Nepal.Youth initiative is an in itiative by and for young people to develop to their fullest potential and bring about positive change in the societies they live.

Youth Initiative Volunteer Information

There are various opportunities for volunteering with Youth Initiative. The volunteering opportunities are open to both Nepalese youths and to International Volunteers who might be interested to work in the youth issues in Nepal.

Some of the international volunteers who have worked with Youth Initiative in the past include, Cameron Neil from Australia, Veronique Riuofol from France and Alex Buri from Canada.
