Special Olympics Montana Volunteer Information
Thousands of volunteers like you, of all ages and from all walks of life, dedicate their time and knowledge to the Special Olympics movement. They coach and train athletes, assist with fund-raising activities, organize events and more. Special Olympics simply would not exist without the dedication, commitment, and tremendous efforts of more than 500,000 volunteers in the United States alone. In Montana, we count on over 4000 volunteers across the state.
With Special Olympics you can walk out on the athletic field in your own community and watch your investment of time and talent make an immediate impact. Whether you're coaching an athlete or staffing an office, handing out medals or celebrating a victory, timing a runner or driving a van - you're touching the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics athletes are working hard to overcome the odds and can do so with your help. They deserve the chance to compete, the chance to grow and the chance to lead, both on and off the playing field. As a volunteer, you can change a life forever.
