Lewis And Clark Trail Heritage Foundation Charity Profile
The Foundation, with its 36 chapters, provides national leadership to preserve the Lewis and Clark Trail and its stories. The Foundation has a 15-member Board of Directors and a National Advisory Council.
While the Board focuses on policy and governance, the Advisory Council provides the Foundation with advice and program suggestions. The Advisory Council works to increase the Foundation’s visibility and expand the network of public and private trail stakeholders who support our work.
The Advisory Council’s charter describes its members as “prominent citizens, captains of industry, leading political figures and scholars with a keen interest in preserving the U.S. history in general and that of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in particular.” The four Council members are E. Peb Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Sheila Bercier of St. Louis, Mo.; and Dr. Steven Pratt of La Jolla, Calif; and Robert Archibald of St. Louis, Mo.
