The North Central Missouri Chapter touches thousands of people every year in the Northeast Missouri counties of Adair, Knox, Linn, Macon, Putnam, Schuyler, Scotland and Sullivan. Whether it's offering disaster and emergency relief, or teaching lifesaving skills such as CPR and First Aid ... We'll Be There.
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
North Central Missouri Chapter Volunteer Information
Volunteering through the American Red Cross will give you an opportunity to save lives and extend the hand of hope to others. Volunteer opportunities include serving as part of a Disaster Assistance Team (DAT), providing Red Cross services to those who have been displaced from their home due to a disaster. We also utilize volunteers to encourage others to Be Red Cross Ready through educational presentations, in the office, at blood drives, and to teach classes (must be certified instructors).

A hot meal delivered to victims after a disaster, blood when it is needed most, shelter when there is nowhere else to turn, an emergency message delivered to a member of the Armed Forces from their family -- these are just some of the ways that gifts are put to work through the American Red Cross.
