Dream Catchers Equine Assisted Programs Charity Profile
Dream Catchers is a premier innovative therapeutic horseback riding program designed as a life skills enrichment center to meet the physical and psychological needs of people with disabilities and youth at risk with the aid of specially selected and trained horses.
Our therapeutic horse programs assist riders in improving socialization skills, posture, mobility and overall life quality. Riders participate in horse-related activities to their maximum ability - in an atmosphere of structure, support and fun.
All of us, not just those with disabilities, can learn from horses. By bringing these special animals to those with needs, we provide a relaxing, recreational experience that benefits both human an animal.
Dream Catchers Equine Assisted Programs Volunteer Information
No matter what your skills or special talents, there is a place and a need for you at Dream Catchers. Whether you have experience with horses or not, there are many ways you can assist.
They groom and saddle horses before a lesson, lead or sidewalk horses during classes, and help put the horses away when class is done. Program volunteers must be able to commit one to two hours per week at the same time each week, usually for a 12-week session. We greatly appreciate the help of our dedicated and caring volunteers!
Dream Catchers relies on these individuals to help with our fund raisers by serving on event committees and working to produce these special occasions.

Dream Catchers Equine Assisted Programs is a tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to Dream Catchers are fully tax-deductible, to the extent allowable by law.
