Joplin NALA Read Charity Profile

Joplin NALA (Neighborhood Adult Literacy Action) Read began in 1981 with Geraldine Brackett (1981 - 1994) serving as the First Coordinator. We are a member of ProLiteracy Worldwide, the world's oldest and largest literacy organization.

At Joplin NALA Read we help adults improve their reading and math, and we teach English to people from other countries. We also provide family literacy programs.
