Reliv Kalogris Foundation Charity Profile

Reliv established the Kalogris Foundation in 1995 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization in honor of the late Dr. Theodore "Ted" Kalogris who created the nutritional formula that would become Reliv Classic®, the company's original product.

"Be ashamed to die until you have scored a victory for mankind," Dr. Ted's father advised him when he was still young, a motto that inspired Dr. Ted to start on a mission to help combat hunger. Dr. Ted's passion, combined with Reliv Chairman, President and CEO Robert Montgomery's vision, launched Reliv's mission to nourish our world. From its founding, Reliv's core mission has been to Nourish Our World. Through the work of the Reliv Kalogris Foundation, the company and our Independent Distributors have broadened that mission, bringing health and hope to thousands of people in need worldwide.

Rather than simply giving money to a single cause, the Kalogris Foundation works at a grassroots level, providing nutritional support to individuals who have been nominated by Reliv Distributors for assistance. The vast majority of recipients are families right here in the United States in the throes of financial difficulties who need help maintaining good health. A significant portion of the Foundation’s donations also goes to support feeding stations in impoverished areas.

Since 1995, the Kalogris Foundation has distributed more than $26 million in nutritional support, in over 270 feeding programs and feeding over 42,000 daily, giving strong testimony to the power of individuals to collectively make a difference in people’s lives.

The Reliv Kalogris Foundation relies on the generosity of our Distributors to enable us to provide our products to so many in need. There are many ways that our Distributors can help. We request you support the Reliv Kalogris Foundation through the following activities:

Build Your Business

The Foundation is unique in that most of our support comes from our own Independent Reliv Distributors. The more people you sponsor into the business, the more Distributors there are to support the Foundation.

Host a Network to Nourish Event

Distributors can raise funds for the Foundation by hosting events in their own backyard, with their community, church and friends and family. Contributions generated by the fundraising efforts go directly to supporting the Foundation.

Donate

Reliv offers our Distributors various options in which to donate. Whether it is a one time donation, a recurring monthly donation of a specific amount or your monthly PVQ, it all adds up to helping us continue to maintain our current feeding programs and hopefully expands in the future. Recommend Someone for Assistance

Participate in the Rally for the Mission

The Rally for the Mission is our single largest fundraiser. In addition to raising money, it also builds awareness of the Foundation and Reliv. Make sure when you register for the St. Louis International Conference you also register for the Rally for the Mission.
