Jefferson County Community Partnership Charity Profile

The Jefferson County Community Partnership was established in 1994 under the name Jefferson County Community Assistance Network (JCCAN). The vision of this group was for the citizens of Jefferson County to work together by creating partnerships throughout the county. These partnerships were composed of individuals who represent various segments of the county, such as churches, government agencies, parents, businesses, social service agencies, schools etc.

The Partnership is a non-profit organization that coordinates many initiatives aimed at improving the community, especially programs for children and economically disadvantaged groups. The Partnership strives to initiate and support projects that are community-based without duplicating other efforts.
