Community Advancement Network Charity Profile

Providing a safe place for botanical/flora and fauna/animals from around the nation and around the world to flourish and be protected from human mishandling and natural environmental factors and providing public access to learn about these collections. CANI also hopes to provide a safe haven for artifacts and other memorabilia pertaining to the past so that the future generations still have vital links to the history of their state and local communities.

CANI wants to highlight all the various special things that up the Delta such as it's Blues heritage, Native American heritage and everyone and everything in between.

CANI will provide a place for the practice of the cultural arts. Various artisans will have their work and workshops on the premises and offering classes to the general public as well as a museum to highlight their specific art.

Community Advancement Network Volunteer Information

We need volunteers to assist in booth management to show the general public what CANI consist of and also recruiting new members.

CANI is also searching for land for general gardening usage for the low income and elderly. any size plots will be greatly appreciated. Volunteers to assist in cultivating and harvesting the land and delivering the fresh produce to the recipients are needed as well

We are also looking for volunteers that wish to assist the organization in planting and maintaining flower beds throughout the community. We want to bring beauty to places that need a brighter look.

Community Advancement Network Donation Information

Our biggest need at the present time is not only the land, but the finances for the basic day to day organizational work. (Internet charges, fundraising material, office supplies, printing cost, fuel for traveling around the Delta etc.) We will also be taking on some beautification projects around the county that will need basic gardening material. Every little bit helps, and we thank you in advance for your assistance and generosity.
