Young Audiences of Minnesota View Charity Profile

Art does wonders for kids. It breaks them out of their shell. It builds self-confidence. It's an outlet for self-expression. It brings out a side of them that they never knew they had. Young Audiences is a non-profit organization committed to linking the arts with other learning. Our programs aren't designed to give teachers one more thing to teach, but rather to help them teach what's already in their curriculum. Teachers don't have to work our programs into their schedule, our programs work into theirs.The mission of Young Audiences of Minnesota is to inspire, empower and unite children and communities through education, arts and culture.

Young Audiences of Minnesota Volunteer Information

Young Audiences of Minnesota works closely with our volunteers to develop a position that best fits their skills as well as their areas of interest. With a staff of 6 full time employees, all YA volunteers get a broad introduction to the basic functions of our arts-in-education non-profit. While most work is done in our offices,volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend our programs in the community.
