Riding on Angels' Wings Charity Profile
Riding On Angels' Wings is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose goal is to strengthen, encourage and educate physical, mental, emotional and behavioral disabled individuals through the love and assistance of equine.
ROAW was founded in 2002 by Bette Shipley, a mother of a child with Cerebral Palsy and Congenital Heart Defects. After seeing the physical attributes riding horse had on her son, DJ, she desired to offer therapeutic horseback riding to other children with disabilities.
