North Country Food Bank Charity Profile
North Country Food Bank, Inc. is a nonprofit agency that distributes almost 200,000 pounds of food products to more than 150 hunger relief agencies in northwest Minnesota and part of Grand Forks, North Dakota, each month. We provide good quality food and non-food products that have been donated locally and nationwide with the goal of meeting the basic needs and improving the nutritional well-being of the people served by our agencies. Annually, North Country Food Bank distributes two million pounds of food to agencies that serve families, seniors and children. North Country has responded wherever the need to alleviate hunger exists.
The mission of North Country Food Bank is to distribute food and other resources to participating agencies, and to educate the public about hunger and its solutions.
North Country Food Bank Volunteer Information
Volunteer opportunities exist in many areas at North Country Food Bank, including repacking bulk foods in the warehouse, packing boxes or backpacks for our programs, office tasks, data entry, etc. Our goal is to provide meaningful work experience and increase our human resource and service capability through volunteer involvement.

Your cash contribution makes a real difference to people in northwestern Minnesota. One dollar donated to North Country Food Bank, Inc. can provide up to five meals for people in need. Your cash donations enable us to acquire and distribute millions of pounds of food to those in need.
