BestPrep Charity Profile
BestPrep is a statewide nonprofit serving 100,000 students and teachers in grades 4-12 annually. More than 2,000 volunteers from business, labor, education, government, and social services conduct presentations in classrooms, work with students, serve as faculty-in-residence, email mentor students, and participate on committees and/or the board of directors.
BestPrep's mission is to best prepare Minnesota students with business, career and financial literacy skills through experiences that inspire success in work and life.
BestPrep Volunteer Information
BestPrep seeks adults willing to share their knowledge and expertise with young people. Volunteers can work directly in one or more of BestPrep’s programs, or can indirectly serve Minnesota students and educators by sitting on our board of directors or special event and administrative committees. Each program staff engages hundreds of volunteers each year in helping educate Minnesota’s youth. Opportunities range from speaking in a classroom once a year, to spending a week on a college campus mentoring a small group of students.
