Saginaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross Charity Profile
Founded in 1917, the Saginaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross has invested 90 years keeping our community safe and helping families in times of crisis. As the need for Red Cross services continues to grow, we are committed to upholding our long-standing tradition of service to this community.
The Red Cross provides relief to local, national, and international disasters. We help people prepare for large-scale disasters and can respond quickly and effectively to sudden devastating occurrences. We provide immediate relief to affected families in the form of shelter, food and clothing. The same immediate response is carried out every day, provided to victims of smaller incidents like house fires.
The Saginaw County Chapter has been the key organization in delivering a range of critical services that directly affect the quality of life in our community.
Saginaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross Volunteer Information
Volunteers are the foundation of the Red Cross - and we actively encourage and develop this inspiring volunteer spirit. None of our programs could be carried out without our volunteer base, and their collective efforts have contributed to an improved quality of life in our community.
