Warren-Conner Development Coalition Charity Profile

Today, W-CDC is a strong, capable, and endowed organization with an active and diverse Board. Our three main programs- Rebuilding Communities, Youth on the Edge... of Greatness, and Partnership for Economic Independence- are all being incorporated as separate entities in a manner similar to the current structuring of our real estate subsidiaries. These affiliate partner organizations have their own executive directors and boards, but will continue to receive support from W/CDC in areas such as administration and development.

As WCDC enters its 25th year, we remain an important community-based institution in the City of Detroit, and especially for Detroit’s Eastside. Our corporate restructuring has created opportunities for our former programs to grow and thrive as affiliated non profits with their own executive and volunteer leadership. WCDC as a Parent Corporation is reinventing itself in order to provide effective back-office services to our Affiliate Partners.
