Yad Ezra Kosher Food Pantry Charity Profile

Yad Ezra, Michigan's only kosher food pantry, has provided kosher food packages to needy members of the Jewish community since 1990.

Yad Ezra helps feed a diverse population of Jewish people in Southeastern Michigan. Yad Ezra also offers referral services to those with additional needs that can be met by area social service agencies.

At Yad Ezra, our vision is to eradicate hunger in our lifetime. We envision a community where everyone is treated with respect and dignity and is secure in the knowledge that no matter what, everyone will always have enough food to eat. Food for everyone should be regarded as a necessity, not a luxury.

Yad Ezra Kosher Food Pantry Volunteer Information

Yad Ezra is a volunteer driven organization. Yad Ezra's small staff of five relies on a dedicated volunteer corps of 125 individuals who regularly give their time, energy, talent and expertise to assist the clients and staff in all areas of the food pantry's operation.
