Nourishing Gardens SDA Community Outreach Charity Profile
Nourishing Gardens SDA Community Outreach Ministries is a community service program that meets the need of many families in Southeastern Michigan.
Our mission is to providing food in our community for those who are in need, regardless of race, age or religion and to educate in areas of health and nutrition for a better life style.
Nourishing Gardens began in April of 2003. The food distribution program was established to help those that were struggling to feed themselves and their families.
Nourishing Gardens provides emergency food boxes to low-income families in the Southeastern Michigan area. Communities include: Sumpter Township, city of Belleville, and Van Buren Township. Our long term goal is to continue to provide low-income families with nutritious food and provide the community with a healthy living program and youth services.

Would you like to help hungry men, women, and children and experience the joy of helping others? If so we have many opportunities for you to get involved with supporting your community. We are looking for individuals who care about others and have a good work ethic.

The work we do at Nourishing Gardens depends upon the individuals, our friends and neighbors in Wayne County and surrounding communities, who decide to take the step of investing in our community.
