Partnership for Volunteer Impact Charity Profile

Partnership for Volunteer Impact (PVI), a collaboration of volunteer centers and retired and senior volunteer programs in the four-county area. The mission of the Partnership for Volunteer Impact is to create an innovative collaboration to increase volunteerism in the four county market area. Our goals include: increasing the capacity of volunteer organizations to involve volunteers effectively; increasing the ability of volunteers to connect to meaningful service opportunities; creating a single benchmark to measure volunteerism in the four county area; and, creating a single vision for volunteerism in our community.

Volunteer Tutors Needed! The Mt. Scott Learning Centers in SE Portland is looking for volunteer tutors in reading and math at both its Middle School and High School sites. Tutors must be available for 1-2 hours two days a week during the school day (9am-3pm). Tutors would also need to be able to volunteer their time for at least one 8 week marking period at school.
Tutors do not need to have an Education-based background, but must feel confident in their ability to help students in both Language Arts and Math.,
