Rockville Consortium for Science Charity Profile

The Rockville Consortium for Science was established to increase understanding of science within the Rockville community. We plan to establish a community science center which will become a focus for the community's scientific resources. It will be used to increase science literacy and encourage students to follow careers in science. We want to communicate the conviction that science is understandable, excellence in science is prized by the community, and exploring the frontiers of science is a profoundly satisfying experience. We also conduct an annual Rockville Science Day, in which local exhibitors provide fun and focus on science.
