WindStar Wildlife Institute Charity Profile

WindStar Wildlife Institute was established in 1986 because of the need for good wildlife and wildlife habitat information for property owners. Between 1986 and 1995, the Institute focused its efforts and resources on developing a 29-acre demonstration area near Jefferson, Maryland. More than 8,000 trees and shrubs and 20 acres of wildflowers and native grasses were planted.
