The Marcus Garvey-Harriet Tubman Youth Initiative Charity Profile

The Marcus Garvey-Harriet Tubman Youth Initiative Foundation, Inc is a community based tutorial/mentoring program that offers academic tutoring to students in grades kindergarten to twelve. We work with churches and community groups to help children succeed academically. We offer martial arts lessons and other community based programs. Our mission is to help the larger society in the area of youth empowerment and development.

We want volunteers who have a love for children and possess exceptional academic skills in reading, reading comprehension, math,and mentoring. We require a background check for all potential volunteers. Volunteers must be willing to contribute time and experience to the mission of our program
