Spark Volunteer Information
Have fun and make a positive impact on the lives of terrific children by joining SPARK! As a tutor or what we call SPARKplug, your interest and encouragement are key to motivating these students to learn. Teachers often email guidance for SPARK tutors about homework, longterm assignments, specific math and reading issues that you can concentrate on with your SPARK student. We ask you make a three-month commitment of tutoring once a week either on Tuesday or Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm. Our goal is to match you with the same student from week to week. We certainly understand if you are unable to tutor occasionally. High school students receive community-learning credit.
