Sids Educational Services Charity Profile

Our Mission is to support families (and helping professionals) grieving babies lost to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome through informational material like the book THE SIDS & INFANT DEATH SURVIVAL GUIDE and DANCING ON THE MOON and through free peer counseling and referral services. E-mail Joani Horchler, who lost her son Christian to SIDS in 1991 and authored the SIDS & Infant Death Survival Guide. Our spokesperson is Gabrielle Christian, star of "South of Nowhere" on the N Network (and one of Joani's five daughters!) Because of the tragic loss of her only brother to SIDS--and her desire to help others avoid such grief--Gabrielle is helping raise funds for bereavement support and medical research.
