Baltimore SquashWise View Charity Profile
Baltimore SquashWise is a not-for-profit after-school youth enrichment program serving public middle school students in Baltimore City. The program combines squash instruction, academic tutoring and community service to empower under-served youth to excel academically, athletically and in life.
Baltimore SquashWise was founded in 2007 by a group of Baltimore and Boston-area squash players committed to making change in Baltimore. While SquashWise is the first combined squash and academic program of its kind in Baltimore, it builds on the Meadow Mill Athletic Club Foundation's programs teaching squash to over 200 students from the KIPP School and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. SquashWise follows the successful model set forward by a dozen urban squash programs across the country, and we are supported by a large and active squash community in the Baltimore area.
