Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland View Charity Profile

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to help boys and girls grow up to be confident, competent, and caring young adults.

Our goal is to provide the influence of positive adult role models and the friendship of caring adult mentors to children whose education, health, and safety are threatened.

Our vision is to contribute to brighter futures, better schools, and stronger communities for all!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland Volunteer Information

Community One-to-One is the traditional Big Brother Big Sister program. It is the foundation on which all of our programs are built.

Amachi Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one mentoring to children of prisoners, in partnership with local faith organizations. Amachi means who knows but what God has brought us through this child.

Bigs In School provides one-to-one mentoring at elementary and middle school schools, in partnership with businesses, universities, high schools, and individuals.

Talent-to-Share is a special interest volunteer program for individuals who want to share their unique talents and knowledge.
