World Relief View Charity Profile

From our founding in 1944 as the War Relief Commission until today, our work helps churches help the poor and hungry. World Relief is the story of the Church at work providing comfort to the world’s poor and suffering.

The Mission of World Relief, as originated within the National Association of Evangelicals, is to work with, for and from the Church to relieve human suffering, poverty and hunger worldwide in the name of Jesus Christ.

World Relief Volunteer Information

Volunteer positions with World Relief are unpaid. Volunteers are asked to cover their own expenses, including travel.

To ensure the safety of World Relief staff, volunteers, and those whom we serve, potential volunteers may be required to submit to a background check prior to commencement of activities with World Relief.
