The Friedrich Ebert Foundation is a private institution, which supported the ideas and values of social democracy of the German Workers Movement.

The EFF was founded in 1925 and represents the political testament of Friedrich Ebert, first President of the German Republic. The foundation is involved in education and civic education and policy, international cooperation, the granting of scholarships and support of research in political science, historical and economic and social research applied.
